For individuals like us, structure feels restricting. Comprehensive plans, fancy schedules, and complex to-do lists get in the way of getting things done. However, children are not expected to point out their errors because this amounts talking back to their moms and dads. In our culture, talking back to parents is an inappropriate behaviour.
